Holy smokes, the weekend to promote the new Melvins single has gone ballistic. Events all over. Buzz just called me late last week and wants to do a Melvins set. Here's the itinerary for that weekend. • Buzz guest bartending Grumpy's Roseville Sat. Dec 13 - 9pm
• Big Business playing live at the Triple Rock Sat. Dec 13 - 11pm
• Buzz guest bartending Grumpy's Downtown Sun. Dec 14 - 9pm
• Melvins playing live Grumpy's ROSEVILLE Sun. Dec 14 - 10pmTickets for both the Sat. Big Business show at Triple Rock, and the Sun. Melvins show at Grumpy's available at Indietickets.com (Big Business WILL NOT be playing on the Melvins set that Sun. Night though there's been some talk of the Melvins joining them at the Triple Rock, as of yet unconfirmed, so get down to the Triple Rock!)directions / info at www.grumpys-bar.com  |

Big Business are the Melvins minus Toshi.. so Jarred and Cody would be playing as the Melvins sunday 14th but just not performing as Big business (3-piece w/Toshi now.)
but.. you MIGHT see the Melvins at the Big Biz Triple rock show on the 13th

I understand the band line-ups, it is just this phrase that confuses me:
"Big Business WILL NOT be playing on the Melvins set that Sun. Night"
To me this could mean either "Big Business WILL NOT be playing the Melvins show Sunday night" or "Big Business will not be part of the Melvins set on Sunday Night." Big Business could be doing their own tour or something. It's not like Jared and Coady have been part of every Melvins show since they ostensibly joined the band (see David Scott Stone, Trevor Dunn, Jared and no Coady, etc.)
Perhaps I am thinking about it too hard.

My bust, I should have said Big Biz were not playing on the Melvins BILL and not used the word "SET" instead. Words matter (ha-ha).
Anyhow, Cody & Jarod will be in the Melvins line up for the Grumpy's Sun. set, and Big Business is doing their own show the night before at the Triple Rock.

Great news regardless. I am glad this ended up being a Melvins show. Too bad I'm probably gonna miss Big Biz, but I guess I can't have it all.
